You might remember Psy for his hit song “Gangnam Style.” His YouTube video alone garnered over two billion views. All in all, the hit brought him more than $8 million! Few people know that the performer hails from the exclusive Gangnam District in Seoul, South Korea. His father is the executive chairman of DI Corporation, and his mother owns a popular restaurant, so Psy grew up enjoying the finer things in life.
His singing career started in 2001 with the releasing of the first album “PSY… From the Psycho World”. In total, he released 6 albums, which added a lot to the total amount of his net worth. Due to his world-known single “Gangnam Style” Psy travelled all over the world and made numerous guest appearances in a lot of TV shows, such as “The Ellen Degeneres Show” and “The Today Show”.
