A ten-year marriage in Hollywood is nothing to scoff at, so it’s no wonder that the 2001 news of divorce between this power couple took everyone by surprise. Height differences aside, Cruise and Kidman seemed happy together, and I really believe they were happy. But Scientology and irreconcilable differences brought this union to an end. It’s definitely one of the saddest celebrity breakups ever.
